Ever since Butch Goring put the Isles over the top in 1980, teams have been trying to recapture that magic.

What a bummer. Cable and internet are in and out, because of the cold weather. Not going to bother watching anything but movies tonight, instead of the WGN broadcast. Too frustrating waiting for the signal to come back.

Keep me posted on what's happening. I'll be trying to check.

the difference here is they didn't lose a player or draft pick, they had the cap space so this a no brainer. they also have enough cap space to add another 5 to 6 million dollar player a the deadline. This all means nothing if Luongo isn't healthy.

For those who care, Leafs beat the Pens 7-3.

I'm sure that will keep them happy while they are making a top 5 pick in the upcoming draft. Don't worry I'm sure my Oilers will be picking soon after.

    Two things:

    1) Selanne is Finnish.

    2) He's under contract to the Ducks. Unless the Ducks wave the white flag on the season, why would they put him on the market?

Larry Brooks criticized Gary Bettman's public proclamations on Sean Avery and the commish's non-handling of Sid The Kid's pugilistic effort Thursday night.

There has never been any such thing as equal justice in the NHL. If you're a star, you skate.....literally.

The Wings probably have as many (if not more Swedes). I can think of five real quick. There might be one or two more (and that's not including the minors).

  12. How in the name of god did that happen?
