    What are the odds the NHLPA reopens the collective bargaining agreement after this season?

    I think it's doubtful, less than 10 percent, but who knows?

    NHL looking at new nets. Instead of radically different shaped nets or even enlarged nets, it looks like they are just changing the shape of the post to encourage more shots that hit the post to actually go in.

    Bogus.

    Enlarge the nets (5x7 sted 4x6) and the ice surfaces (200x100 sted 200x85) and be done with all this bullshit "tinkering."

    Agreed. I still appreciate Burns for the motivational stuff he told the Devils players about Michael Eisner's comment during the Stanley Cup Finals in 2003. I wish Burns all the best as he continues to fight and inspire.

    I think the tinkering is crap, but because I think there is nothing wrong with the dimensions of the rink or the nets.
