What I meant was, hopefully a better team would have better defencemen who would make the proper play.

But you're right, and I really don't want to take anything away from the play. It was brilliant.

I'm actually reminding myself of the time when Bobby Orr left four or five Atlanta Flames lying on the ice when he went through the entire team and scored a shorthanded goal. I think it was Atlanta. A cynic - who, me? - might have said, "yeah, what Orr did was great, but he never would have done it against Philly or Montreal." To which a real hockey fan should say, "big deal, the point is he did it, and it was amazing to watch - STFU."

    Who, me? ;)

As Wayne Campbell would say, "NOT!! As if!"

But he's a Chicago fan. The Hawks play better D. And oh, didn't they just score again?

    Wow

Dallas beats Rangers 10-2, scoring six in the third on nine shots

That makes Steve Valiquette's save % in the period .333.

    Nice

Sean Avery never would have let that happen. ;D

And in other news, Brampton beat Ottawa 5-1. Twelve game winning streak and they're in first place in the Eastern Conference.

The Troops had a sixteen game win streak earlier.

And in the spirit of the thing, here's the song they play every time the Battalion score:

Weak, I know, but in Brampton instead of "Last minute in the period", they do "Last minute till ceasefire".

    Awesome or what?

  8. OK, les Habitants are now 1-6 over the last 7.
    I am officially panicking.

Yeah, except they play the Leafs tonight.

  10. And they're riddling the Leaf goalie with shots to no perceptable effect.

Must not be Toskala playing, then.

Toskala's playing great. He has one good game every three or four.
