Staying with the goalie-getting-pulled theme, Florida hammering the Whalercanes 4-0 halfway through. Michael Leighton already in for Cam Ward.

Carolina must think that logo on the front of the sweater is a yo-yo ...

It ended 5-0. Thankfully for the Whalercanes, it ended.

Four days off ... at home ... against a team it will likely have to beat if it wants to avoid missing the playoffs for a third consecutive season.

Yeegad ... Flames are playing LA and every time Kiprusoff makes a save, you'd swear it's the coming of Christ.

Vancouver comes back from a 3-1 deficit and beat the Coyotes 4-3.

There are only seven points separating the 15th place team from the 8th place in the West.

It's gotta be bad to make you wanna watch the Wild play with no rooting interest.

It's always tight in the West, but I can't ever remember a gong show like this before. There's going to be some pissed off fan bases that their teams missed out on the playoffs because of a tiebreaker or some other team losing in a shootout on the final day and getting the third point.

Can't decide who is in a worse funk: Carey Price, Vesa Toskala or Ryan Miller?

Veska Toskala isn't in a funk.

He's a crappy goddam goaltender with the worst save % and GAA in the entire league.

I ended up watching the Sarnia/Windsor game which the Spitfires won in OT. Couple of good scraps in the third.
