You know, considering they don't seem to miind going into dugouts to talk to managers any other time, wouldn't it be a half-decent idea to go to Francona now and ask him what his fucking plans are?

McCann in the game. Our long national nightmare is over.

I wonder if this thread will go to 50+ pages, by then we'll have to make a All-Star Game Pt. 2 thread. Takes us about a week or more to do that with one of the baseball threads.

The AL would still have half its pitchers sitting in the bullpen ...

    McCann & Lidge are in.

    No chance of that happening...

I was watching this on DVR about an hour behind real time. Like an idiot, I only set the DVR to record until midnight (an extra hour over what they had slotted for the game), which was just enough time to see the AL load the bases with no outs and Sizemore coming to the plate. I figured that must have been it, and for the hell of it, I flipped on Fox.

To quote a certain post in the NBA playoffs thread, unreal.

    Ooooh, Garb-lidge is in.

    I feel a walk-off coming on.

I think it will be Kinsler.

    Edit: Or a tie.

Why not alternate? It worked for how many decades?

I came on here right after the BCS championship game was over and proclaimed that Georgia would be ranked #2. I was laughed out by pretty much everyone, including you.

    Well.

Dusty would also have changed the rules, left Soto on the bench and started Henry Blanco for his veteran presence on the field.
