True, but JD Drew also had a chance to win it and didn't - as did many other players.

That's why in my mind, the sac fly deserves the MVP or George Sherril. He pitched great.

who cares if it was a sac fly or a homer, it was the game-winning hit for a 15-inning game.

 

Drew deserved it. He contributed just about every time he got up to bat.

 

Perhaps Uggla deserved it?

I don't give a fuck who's MVP, I just never want Joe Buck to call another game of import again.

He seriously pissed me off throughout a very compelling game.

Two-run home run, single, reached on an error, stole a base ... yeah, he probably deserved it. And I'm no fan of Drew or the Red Sox.
