2008 NASCAR running thread

    I'm watching the Academy Awards and came to see who won. Is it still running? My Fox station went to local news apparently.

    I may be able to watch the race after work the way it's going, and I'm out West.

    Yay, I'll get to listen to the race on my drive home from work!

    That's provided there's someone at the local MRN affiliate to flip the switch.

    If NASCAR really had balls, they would stick with the earlier plan to run the Nationwide race one hour after the Cup race. I could have caught the end of that with my morning corn flakes.

    The more I think about it, the more I realize how perfect NASCAR is handling this. Racing at a track that puts people to sleep ... perfect time to run this race.

    People in and near Darlington would probably still like to know what NASCAR was thinking with moving the Labor Day race there. I was forced to watch parts of that race before weather intervened. Not even throwing cautions for "debris" would have saved this one.
