So, umm, I just got back from the Ducks game. Turned on Fox, watched the Simpsons ... and all of a sudden, NASCAR comes back on.

They're racing again at 10? I am SERIOUSLY considering driving up to Fontana, 15 miles away, and seeing if they'll let me buy a ticket (or hell, let me in for free) to the grandstand to watch the end of the race.

    NASCAR-ites ... y'all think they'd let me do that?

I don't know if they'll have anyone at the ticket gates...but if it's only 15 miles, try it. They might just have the gates open now.

That's what I'm hoping. Parking was free anyway, so maybe they'll just let me in.

    Fuckit, I'm doing this. :D

In the Fox/ESPN/DirecTV compound many people are screaming CHA-CHING with overtime.

Too bad for ESPN this wasn't an ABC race, they could have gone straight to Good Morning America.

Hell, I don't get to bed 'til around then anyway. Just downed a cup of Starbucks, so I'm good for a while.

This'll be fun. Or we'll turn right back around. ... Let you know how it goes soon ...

I can't wait to hear from Buck.

At what point do they decide driver safety might be affected by the lateness of the hour?

They'll say the drivers have been snoozing in their campers all day. And screw fans who had flights planned later tonight to go back home after the race.
