TNT's producer is having one hell of a bad day in the booth. There have been at least three times it's suddenly popped into an inadvertent commercial during racing.

Pocono and TNT are made for each other.

And Dario Franchitti's career change looks worse every week. I wonder if Ashley even bothers traveling with him anymore.

Love Pocono. People bitch about the lack of passing on the cookie-cutter tracks and all the cars being bunched up and crashing at Daytona and Talladega. Then when they get to a track where there's as many passes in 10 laps as the cookie-cutters see in one race, they bitch about that too.

Lots of passing, three-and four-wide racing without The Big One and the flat turns make it a driver's track instead of a ride-around-all-afternoon-and-get-lucky-on-a-pit-stop cookie cutter snoozefest.

    quick help please:

AP sent over results with three guys earning $0: Earnhardt Jr. (3rd), Truex Jr. (17th) and Hornish Jr. (42nd).

Just realized they are all Jrs. and there's something wrong with the AP wire that f*cked this up.

Can anyone please post/send me a message with their money earnings?

People bitch about crashing? Not anyone I've ever sat next to in a grandstand. If you mean drivers/teams, sure. But I don't see how 500 miles at Pocono twice in two months makes sense.

Is there any way this doesn't end EXTREMELY poorly for NASCAR?

No. For some people, it's just confirmation of what they already thought about stock-car racing.

A lot of respectable businesses have faced discrimination suits. The difference is this lawyer was shrewd enough to pick that absurd dollar amount, ensuring it gets a headline everywhere today. At the end of the day they'll be thrilled to settle for a couple mil.

    Maybe.

Certainly not saying this is a lovely development for NASCAR.
