Opinions on this nugget from Meltzer's update today on www.wrestlingobserver.com?

The Ultimate Warrior is training with Rob Van Dam to return to wrestling in late June for NWE in Madrid, Spain.

My add: He's wrestling Orlando Jordan in the match he's preparing to do.

WCW vs. NWO came out for Nintendo 64. I wasn't going to buy it, then saw a vid of La Parka with the chair doing tiger drivers. Drove immediately to Best Buy, spent the next week dealing with sore thumbs.

Played the shit out of WCW/nWo Revenge when it came out for 64. My stepbrother and I (as DDP and Goldberg respectively) were an unstoppable tag team.

Also played the shit out of Revenge. I had Booker T in nWo gear WAY before WWE did it.

I'd love to see a Hart/Shelton Benjamin match. Though WWE still has no clue of the talent Benjamin is, his raw skills would make a match against Hart intriguing.

Haven't seen much of TNA of late, but with Angle apparently out indefinitely, now would be a good time to see Styles get a push towards a title shot. I'm also beginning to think that Jeff Jarrett's return is near.

They've turned AJ face again, so I don't know if that's the best idea...but who else is there? I have a feeling they are going to go with Samoa vs. Booker T soon. And of course they are hinting at a Kevin Nash feud. Ugh.

LAX vs. Team 3D feud has started again and it's off to a really good start IMO. I love LAX...they are super over as faces now, solid workers, and great charisma. I wish TNA would let The Dudleyz loose and become even more hated heels like in ECW, barking at the crowd and acting like asses.

  7. Samoa Joe and Booker T have great potential.

Booker was great on the mic last week and seems very natural as a heel. And he has a big enough name to really put Joe over as a legitimate world champion or to eventually take the belt, whichever TNA decides. Plus, those two seem capable of putting on great matches.

A.J. Styles has become such a joke in TNA. It’s kind of sad. I forget how many great matches he’s had, because now they just want him to be a clown and job all the time. A feud with Kurt Angle (injured) over Karen would have been nice to see, because Angle could get the best out of Styles.

I like LAX, too. They were buried for the past year but just kept hanging around. I’m not sure how they got over so much with the fans, but they did. It looks like TNA is getting back to “true” tag teams again, as oppose to mixing guys like A.J. and Tomko, who rarely defended the belt anyway. Good move by them.

I remember Benjamin had an entertaining match with HBK probably 2-3 yrs back. It was the one where Shelton tried to attack Shawn from either the top or second rope, but jumped right into the superkick...

caught a few minutes of raw just now and it seems like cena is over with everyone after his two-week hiatus.

A few solid, watchable streams on channelsurfing.net of Judgment Day for anyone interested.

Not that I imagine there are many of you. The card itself is fairly brutal.

Who's on the card anyway? Nothing sounded too intriguing except for HBK/Jericho so I've kinda tuned out...

Edge vs. Taker, HHH vs. Orton in a cage, cm punk/kane vs. morrison/miz for the titles, jbl vs. cena, jericho vs. hbk, and beth phoenix vs. melina vs. mickie james for the title.

    pretty damn bad.
