That's unfortunate. Thought his heel dictator character had potential, even though the heel in charge has been played over and over again.

That sucks for Matthews/Regal. I'd heard he had made good strides from the bottle. Guess his nose or veins got lonely. I hope he does get the help he needs to overcome whatever demons he's facing. At the end of the day, his well-being is far more important than what he does in-ring. Sounds like WWE is stepping up to take care of that.

The Mickie James-Katie Lea angle has some interesting upside. I'm guessing Paul Burchill's going to be left in mid-card status while his "sister's" stock begins to fly.

  3. Agreed, it's been done before, and I generally didn't think too highly of Regal, but I thought he was pulling this off quite well.

I'm a big Mickie James fan - I think she's hot and I like her peppy gimmick. But standing next to Katie Lea made me realize just how hot Katie Lea is.

    Yum.

I watched some of Raw last night and, being that I live in San Diego and One Night Stand will be here, an ad for the PPV was shown early in the show stating that Orton would be facing Triple H in a Last Man Standing match at the PPV. Thanks guys for letting me know how the Raw main event turned out about 90 minutes before it took place. I didn't need to watch the rest of the show after that.

Too bad about Regal. Great talent, no willpower when it comes to drugs. Just like Jeff Hardy.

Well, now we know why Regal lost. I was wondering why they were pulling the plug on him so soon after winning KOR and getting a big push as GM.

Does this mean C.M. Punk will now be crowned King of the Ring as the runner-up?

So what do they do with Regal when he gets back? WWE.com says it was a loser gets fired match ...

I get the feeling Regal's going to be gone much longer than 60 days. He's got the favor of the McMahons, so there's probably not going to be a reason to rush him back until both sides are certain he's over his issues.

Teddy Long's probably going to be the new Raw GM, but how cool would it be if they brought back Ted DiBiase (who was there briefly last night) into his Million Dollar Man heel role as GM? Mickie is smoking hot (and the outfit she was wearing last night only certified that). I can't quite second that emotion on Katie Lea being hotter, but not by much. Beth Phoenix gets hotter by the day...

I can't see Teddy Long becoming the RAW GM especially considering that his absence, I believe, will be only temporary and current gig with Vickike G. is getting a bit old. How long can you keep pushing Edge until the fans just get bored of him like they did with Batista? My feeling is Vince is likely going to take a more on-air role on RAW and Regal, upon his return, will likely given a midcard role on RAW or SmackDown! Regal messed up bad and will now have to pay for his mistakes.

For our Million Dollar Man fans, his appearance on RAW and further appearances are to only publicize his new autobiography will comes out in June.

One look to the left of this text will show that I second this motion....

  12. I've said this before about Katie Lea, but she is blah as far as I'm concerned. She's got that eastern European look that doesn't translate well in the states.
