Where did that come from? ... just curious.

And, limo explosion '08 - my thoughts exactly.

    Draft breakdown:

To RAW: Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Michael Cole (???? ... Why?), Batista, Kane.

To SD: Triple H, Mr. Kennedy (... Kennedy!), Umanga, Jeff Hardy, Jim Ross (again, WTF).

    To ECW: Matt Hardy.

Clearly, Vince doesn't care about WWECW. One draft pick? That's it?

Is there some kind of delayed, jobber-only post-draft?

Front page of WWE.com: "As a result of the tragic accident during Raw's closing minutes, McMahon's Million Dollar Mania is suspended for the foreseeable future."

Just admit it was a flop, Vinnie Mac. The guy needs to be off TV for a few years. He's always trying to make the show about him when he hasn't been entertaining since fueding with Steve Austin and Mick Foley.

So is Matt Hardy still United States Champion? I really think WWE should bring back a Hardcore Title of some kind for ECW. . .that title was a great deal of fun back in the day.

Has Punk cashed in yet? It's a shot in the dark, but if he's on RAW now...

OH well. I guess McMahon will go to his grave known as a "benevolent man."

the more i think about it the more the entire show tonite pisses me off. from terrible acting by hbk to jr changing shows to this mcmahon shit. its past time for vince to hand the company over and enjoy retirement. i wonder if a newspaper in the area will have a story saying everything was staged and that vince is alive and well? fuck vkm and fuck wwe. </rant>

It seems to me that Trips will get his win over Cena and carry the strap in SmackDown, while Edge drops to Batista, giving each brand a new title to fight over. Vince's angle is obviously a work to bring back Undertaker. On another note, a friend of mine went to a house show over the weekend and said DiBiase, Jr. is legit. But, time will tell on that one.

The show was pretty decent until the end. Fucking Vince ...

Most of the picks made some kind of sense. Most. The announcer swap was odd, but VKM has been trying to ditch JR for years now. JR looked as pissed as he can considering his condition, but you could see it in his demeanor. I'm pleasantly surprised that no picks were wasted on crap like Hornswoggle or the Boogeyman. No Divas drafted?

    Raw
Rey Mysterio ... goes quickly to the midcard to fued with other midcard veteran greats such as Jericho and ... uh ...
CM Punk ... Risky. He'd fit better on SmackDown, but this guy will either be red hot in 6-9 months or he'll job the briefcase to somebody else and remain in the midcard.
Michael Cole ... Why not? He's a veteran, and we've got to move on from JR and the King eventually. It's not the Attitude era anymore, and hasn't been for a long time.
Batista ... will rise to the top immediately.
Kane ... back to the midcard.

    ECW
Matt Hardy ... Slap in the face that this guy is shoved to the junior varsity. With the "talent exchange," he'll still have a few random tag matches with Jeff.

    SmackDown
Jeff Hardy ... A great fit, but he'll continue to be held down by Triple H.
Jim Ross ... See above. He and Foley could be good together.
Umaga ... He'll be the big, bad midcard monster heel and nothing more.
Mr. Kennedy Kennedy ... goes back to SmackDown? What did he accomplish on Raw? This didn't make a lot of sense.
Triple H ... The guy who was involved in the best "power couple" angle will likely get thrown into the mix quickly as a face versus the new power couple, Edge and Vickie. C'mon, you know that no matter what title ends up on the show, he'll be in the mix.

The title situation has got to be done just right or this will be a mess. I'm all in favor of some title unifications, but that ain't happening. But it is a step in the right direction to move some titles around as long as it makes sense.

Edge/Cena was a lot better than I remembered from a few years ago. Give it another year or two, and that would be a hot rivalry to renew down the road. Batista ... damn, boy, I bet that hurt like hell. Michaels overacting again.

Count me as someone who likes the Cole move to Raw. JR's a legend, no question, but yeah, it's time to move on. Even Summerall and Madden departed. I have give credit to HHH for going to Smackdown. It would have been easy for him to jake his way out (and I wouldn't be surprised if he shows back at Raw by year's end), but that he went down to SD is a sign of his professionalism.

Just finished watching the show (thank you Tivo). Disappointing to say the least. It was an average show that became lame when Vince had to make it about him. It's time for him to take a back seat and the reigns over to Steph, Trips and Shane. This did little to stem the decline. No matter what, the same seven guys are still going to run things. In short, they simply painted over the mess.

80s haircut aside, Natalya Neidhart's not too bad on the eyes.....

I don't watch Smackdown (that whole job thing and all) so forgive me if this is wrong ... but will the ECW title be vacant after this week? Kane is going to Raw and Big Show was with the Smackdown group in the battle royal. I don't know if Big Show has been on Smackdown or not, but if neither guy is on ECW then what do they do with that title?
