I think they did it right. They gave some guys a chance to shine (Kingston, Kendrick) and others (Super Crazy, Murdoch) a chance for one last chance to revitalize their careers.

Then, of course, there's Mark Henry to ECW and Big Daddy V to SmackDown - which essentially means no change.

I like that they moved Henry to ECW. They can build him up pretty big there (no pun intended). I wish they'd kept Kingston on ECW. I have a feeling they will just be burying him on Raw.

If they are going to have two women's titles, Maria may have a big role in that on Smackdown.

Maybe Benjamin will finally get a bit of a push back on Smackdown. Or at least team him up with Haas again.

Of course, this could all become meaningless in a week if wrestlers keep appearing on multiple shows. The first time they had the draft, it was pretty big, because they kept the brand split pretty well for a couple of years. Then, when the performers from the two shows would meet in the ring, there was just a dab of intrigue.

Now, the draft is absolutely meaningless, when you see wrestlers switching at the drop of a hat.

The draft, to me, looks like further proof that WWE no longer gives a damn about tag teams. Tag-team wrestling? Maybe. But only if it's some gimmick with two big-name singles wrestlers teaming up.

  4. And maybe we'll have pet unicorns and win the lottery, too.

I am a big Shelton fan but have abandoned all hope of him getting treated decently by the creative "brain trust."

    Isn't Haas still on Raw?

That ain't stopped them from switching brands before.

One thing that happened Monday was seeing Kennedy come out after he was drafted to Smackdown and he was shouting at Edge, no doubt wanting to set up the feud dating back to the WM 23 Money in the Bank stuff that transpired. Of course, though, that thought was quickly buried when it was announced that Triple H was drafted to Smackdown.

You know Trips will wind up back on Raw in a few weeks anyway.

I hope CM Punk wins a World Title.

I do too. But if Trips does move back to Raw in the near future, I doubt that will happen.
