    Predictions:
    Lea
    Chavo
Finlay/Hornswoggle unfortunately. Miz/Morrison are a great tag team.
    DiBiase/mystery partner (Deuce)
    The Big Show
    Edge
    John Cena

    shitty card.

For you Santino fans, here's some encouraging info from a great online interview:
    http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2008/06/27/6006136.html

Carelli, out of character for most of the conversation, indicated that the writing team plans to make Santino a more active player on the RAW landscape.

“I think I may have a new on-screen girlfriend coming up. I’m not sure exactly when or how. But the person they chose is in developmental, and she’s very sexy, you’ll want to hate her. She’d be a really good match. I’m just happy I get to kiss her once in a while,” he laughed.

Pressed for more details, Carelli elaborated a bit further.

“Just in case, she’s not the right person, I don’t want to tell you her name,” he explained. “She’s actually Canadian. I’ll leave it at that.”

He confirmed the early Internet rumors of the stable for Italia’s finest were accurate.

“There’s some talk I might get a stable going,” Santino reflected. “I’d do a little bit of managing, and fighting. I debuted a little older, I’m 34, already been here a year, so I can’t wrestle forever. I did judo for 25 years, so my body is not as fresh as it was before. But I’d like to do some managing down the road, still want to wrestle, I want to do everything to be honest, be involved in everything every step of the way, even management and creative. I want the ball basically.”

I found two women who wrestle in FCW who are Canadian. Angela Fong, a former CFL cheerleader, and Roucka, who made it to the Final 3 in the '06 Diva Search, has MMA training, and had a memorable feud with Katie Lea last year in OVW. Both are from Vancouver.

And in the unnamed opponents department, I'll go with Natalya to win her match and Chris Jericho to keep his title.

In the wrestling world, that's like 25. Looking at the top talent in the WWE, most are over 35.

Finlay is 49. Hardcore Holly is 45. Undertaker is 43. Shawn Michaels is 42. Kane and JBL are 41. Batista is 39. Triple H will be 39 next month. Chris Jericho, Chavo Guerrero, and Mark Henry are 37. Big Show is 36. Umaga and Khali are 35 and Edge and MVP will both be 35 later this year.

Wow. That really puts things in perspective. Namely, that the "younger" talent -- Jericho, Chavo, Edge, MVP -- aren't really that young.

Has anyone really taken the place by storm who's been under 25 in the past 10-15 years?

Randy Orton was the youngest heavyweight champion ever when he got the belt the first time. Cena was either 27 or 28 when he got his first world title. And I think the Rock was 25 or 26 when he got his first really big push.

Orton and Rock are the two best examples. Brock Lesnar was also under 25 when he became big. Orton's perhaps the youngest main eventer in both WWE and TNA at 28.

Austin didn't become huge until after 30. Goldberg was over 30 as well.

If they play it right, I think Ted DiBiase, Jr. will start his rapid rise tonight.
