Was Rikishi driving the car? :D

Seriously, there were some things I did like about tonight's show. For one, Beth Phoenix beating Santino -- I miss going into shows and not expecting something like that happening, so a good twist there. Second, Rhodes-DiBiase and Cryme Tyme both being in the main event with Cena and JBL -- could that be the makings of an honest to goodness tag-team rivalry in RAW?

i hope so. the tag team division needs a fresh start, and it seems like this is it.

    Kane: "Where is Punk?"
Santino: "Did you try the Pepsi machine?"

Flipping away from the HR Derby, I caught that scene. Fantastic.

The ending of the show really sucked.

OK, someone please give me a rundown of RAW. Or if you know a website that has good wraps. I appreciate it.

Other than the cheese-ball ending, the show was pretty good, especially the fact they resumed pushing the younger talent. Cryme Tyme v. DiBiase-Rhodes has the makings of a very good rivalry, only if the writers want it that way. Beth Phoenix doesn't fit the face role, but cool to her beat Santino (wonder if it opens the door for the girlfriend he's supposed to have in the future).

I think after Sunday, I'm officially tapped on TNA. Russo's sinking this ship to the point where I half expect David Arquette to show up to defeat Samoa Joe and ring in the final death knell. There's still hope for the company, but they're at a point to where the lame-assed storylines from 1995-97 WWF shows are sapping away at them. I will say the X-Cup had some of the best wrestling I saw this year.

It's funny to think about now, but Beth Phoenix WAS a face in the beginning. You'll recall that she was brought in by Trish to get in the head of psycho Mickie. Besides which, Santino's awesome enough to make anyone a face, even if for one night.

The only bad part about the DiBiase/Rhodes promo: the prospect of them wrestling Hacksaw and Hardcore Holly at some point.

I'm curious when they are going to push the whole DiBiase/Rhodes angle. I know Vince wanted to turn them into a faction of young guys and eventually team up with the British Bulldog's son there (forgot his name).

With the Cryme Tyme deal, and then the Next Generation folks, and then Jericho recruiting Lance Cade (and perhaps Paul London), I wouldn't mind if we saw a return to the stable wars of 1999 for a bit.

At least that made things interesting, stratified everyone's roles and made sure people made routine appearances on TV.

Harry Smith, but I think he's been going by DH Smith. He's on Smackdown now, but they could always flip him back.

If Jericho recruits London, who would HBK team with? Unless London sides with him and feuds with Cade
