It'll make me watch more, but I'm rather confused about the angle. Are they trying to turn Michaels heel when this really could be the final year of his career?

JBL came out to the ring clad in a suit and tie and asked Michaels to accept his challenge for a street fight. When Michaels came to the ring, JBL summed up the economy and how life hasn't been great to Michaels lately and one more bump, bad fall off a ladder or a unfortunate accident will end Michaels' career for good. JBL got personal with Michaels and talked about how he knows how its been with the economy and said while the rest of America was playing "follow the leader," JBL was making money while Michaels is in the midst of losing everything including his children's college money and stuff.

JBL offered Michaels a job, but didn't offer details about the job. After Michaels' stood in the ring both motionless and speechless, JBL offered Michaels to give him a free Sweet Chin Music but Michaels' refused. Michael's left the ring and got booed pretty heavily by the crowd.

That's the best I can remember.

Don't know if that's a work. Couldn't really tell on the replay.

It it is a work, fuck WWE for taking Rey off TV again.

Crap, I missed the end of RAW. Something went kaput with satellite. What happened with Cena and Kane?

Jericho came out and them two brawled until Priceless and Orton joined Jericho and they all just beat the shit outta Cena.

    Thank you.

So what did ya'll think of RAW? Did it finally deliver for back-to-back weeks for the first time in what seems like forever?

All you missed was Cena beating Kane before getting his butt kicked by Priceless and Jericho.

This angle would work if it wasn't Michaels. Too much money made, too much clout in WWE and hey, he's on great terms with HHH. I don't think anyone believes he's struggling at all and the fans who do watch know this to be true SO ... all it really means is a pairing of HBK and JBL. YAWN!!!!!!!

Then again, if they're going to do this, then don't have a HHH-HBK (DX) wwe.com Christmas promo come on earlier in the show, making it seem that it was live and HBK's acting goofy, only to have him nearly in tears when in the ring with JBL.

    Duggan's Geico-ripoff commercial wasn't too bad.

It delivered, but it wasn't a slam dunk like last week. The actual wrestling, besides the standard tag match opener of Kofi/Punk vs. Manu/Cody Rhodes, was lackluster. I don't think there was another match that lasted more than 5 minutes, the main event of Kane vs. John Cena included.

It was still pretty entertaining however, and IMO creative is doing a fine job building up feuds...Jericho vs. Cena, HBK vs. JBL, and even Mysterio/Bourne vs. Knox are good stuff, although I am letdown by Orton-Batista being kind of dull thus far. Jericho and JBL cut excellent promos. Santino was hilarious in his commentary and two segments. I'd like to see Goldust kind of terrorize and freak out Santino for a few months. Melina's back and is my favorite diva.

I remind you of 2005...one of the great heel turns of all-time (hell, it was one of my favorite feuds of all time and really helped bring WWE back after a lengthy creative lull) when Michaels turned on Hogan at the end of an episode of Raw.

    Jericho's promos remain top-notch.
