Oh, yeah. Wow, how I forgot that feud. The only other instance I could remember was when the nWo returned and Michales joined the nWo for a very, very short stint. During that period, though, fans didn't want to boo Michaels much like Hogan because he was such a fan favorite for awhile fans were just happy that he was back.

Yes! Jericho's promo to open the show was great and, not that he needed anymore of it, earned him the crowd's hatred for sure. He plays the heel role very well.

Indeed. This is the best run of Jericho's life, which is saying quite a bit. That promo last night reminded me of Bret vs. HBK, in which Bret would mention that his son, his own blood, was a Michaels fan and how horrible it was to see. It was a terrific, terrific promo.

It's ironic that Y2J's heel turn is going so well, because his face return to the company was underwhelming to say the least.

He's just someone people love to hate.

I think what WWE needs right now, though, is a big "Wow" moment. No one was expecting Hogan, Nash and Hall to return to WWE, no one expected Flair's return in the early 2000's and Jericho's return was a big suprise and a great moment for WWE. I think Christan's return to WWE will definitely spark a big interest and maybe spice up the storylines a bit.

But if you think about it, Jericho's return wasn't as surprising once everyone figured it out.

And the same goes for the nWo, seeing as they came back at the aptly named no Way out PPV.

That may be an interesting conversation inside this thread. When was the last time there was something that happened in WWE that made you just go: "Wow, I never expected that to happen."

For me, when Eric Bischoff became the GM of Raw I was like: "Wtf? These two battled it out for years and now are working side by side?"

When Piper returned at the Vince/Hogan match at WresleMania, I was pretty shocked by that, too.

Only two markout moments in recent memory I can think of were:

    - Jericho "beating" HHH to briefly win the title on Raw:

    - The Radicalz showing up at ringside ... the day after Benoit won the WCW title at a WCW PPV:

This was right after that. One of the best promos ever... and in MONTREAL of all places. Those guys love Michaels!

    WHOOPS here it is...

Wow/mark out factors for me over the years include:

Foley and THE BUMP ... if you don't know what I'm talking about you shouldn't be posting on this thread.

The return of New Jack (w/o Moustapha) and The Eliminators to decimate The Dudleys at Born 2 Be Wired

Seeing Jeff Hardy (sitting ringside) do a spot off the top of a steel cage.

Meeting and getting my picture taken (autographed too) with Mick Foley

Being live for the WWE debut of Cactus Jack vs. HHH (before DX) in Orlando

CM Punk winning the World Title on Raw

Getting up close and personal with Bubba Ray Dudley at ECW house shows.

Wow. This was seven years after Bret got screwed and Montreal is still booing him?
