Don't forget the Benoit effect. Any "edgy" storylines now draw a bit more attention from outside the wrestling community than is probably wanted. Or warranted, for that matter.

And for that at least we can thank for no more Katie Vick storylines.

Slammy Awards tonight [no Owen :( ]. 3-hour Raw, starts an hour early. Just a reminder. Actually some good matches booked:

    - WWE Champion Edge vs. World Champion John Cena.

    - Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy.

    - Batista vs. Triple H in a Wrestlemania 21 rematch.

    - Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio (Intercontinental title title tournament Semi-Final).

    - CM Punk vs. John Morrison (Intercontinental title title tournament Semi-Final)

    Predictions:
    Edge/Cena -- Double DQ finish
    Jericho/Hardy -- Jericho wins
    HHH/Batista -- HHH

Kingston/Mysterio -- Rey's injury may play a role here. Kingston should go over, and if he does, it will be because Rey sells the injury, thus making Kingston's win not as big because Mysterio's not 100 percent.

Morrison/Punk -- Morrison in a slight upset (w/the Miz helping him win)

I'm guessing they go with tag champ vs. tag champ in CM Punk vs. Kofi Kingston. Would be a helluva match.

MVC is out. Yes, that's another Charlie Haas impersonation. Ha ha.

Baron, thanks for the answer on the Attitude Era answer.

I've liked every other impersonation he's done, but this one sucks.

    Majorly.

It's gotten stale over the last few weeks.

    Awesome.

These Slammy Awards have as much significance or meaning to these wrestlers as FOX's Galloping Gobbler to the NFL.
