While I'm not a fan of either guy, I have to come to their defense. First, I think that was the point of the segment. Talking over it would've taken away from the so-called drama of the Palumbo-McCool-Noble angle.

Secondly, you have to realize how overproduced the announcers are. There are very few things said on WWE airwaves that aren't scripted. And, Vince is constantly on JR, Kings, Cole and Coach's headset telling them what to say, when to say it, how to say it. Granted, JR and King have a little more leeway because of their veteran status. Coach and Cole have none.
One of the funniest stories I ever heard was when they brought Joey Styles back and he was announcing RAW. They literally broke Styles' style down and re-built him into a WWE-style announcer. It was a long process and Styles had a really difficult time because he was allowed to be himself in ECW. Then, after a while, WWE decided Styles wasn't cutting it on RAW because they wanted someone younger, edgier and funnier than Styles ... basically everything Styles was before they changed him.

Don't forget about .... the SHOCKMASTER!

(Yes, I'm aware Shockmaster was Earthquake).

    And, of course, Sid!

Shockmaster wasn't Earthquake -- he was Typhoon.

Shockmaster was Tugboat/Typhoon/Fred Ottman. John Tenta was Earthquake/Avalanche/The Shark/Golga/alive.

Lets have a poll. Worst five moments in the history of pro wrestling?

    For me:

    1. Katie Vick
    2. Shockmaster
    3. Robocop
    4. Chuckie
    5. Mae Young gives birth to a hand

  8. Not familiar with Robocop and Chuckie. I think Mae Young has to be second on a list like this.

    Robocop:

Couldn't find a video of Chuckie, but right before Child's Play III came out, Rick Steiner came out on NITRO to do an interview and Chuckie came up on the big screen and they argued back and forth.

Big Bossman surfing the coffin of Al Snow's (fake) dead dad at his funeral
Big Bossman tricking Al Snow into eating Pepper, Snow's dog
Dawn Marie fucks Torrie Wilson's (fake) dad to (fake) death

Wow, it doesn't pay to be the dad of a WWE Superstar!

Wow, Big Bossman sure was an asshole. I'm glad he's (real) dead!

Mae Young has to be second after Katie Vick.

Also have to go with Golddust, the Gobbledygooker, Pat Patterson's skid mark, and anything involving Vince McMahon and his bare ass.
