I read some story, I think it was on Lance Storm's Web site (a great read by the way), where Flair was one of the very few wrestlers that not only didn't mind jobbing, but actually wanted to, on many occasions. Storm told the story of a tag match he had with, I think, Christian, against Flair and Taker where Flair kept volunteering to lose even though the office told them they wanted Flair/Taker to win.

Ohhhh, boy. Let's see how that goes. WWE Saturday Night's Main Event has seemed to flop. Sunday Night Heat and Velocity just didn't produce quality ratings to stay on the air. I don't think Superstars will be able to make a successful return. It'll depend when the show airs, too. Originally, WWE Superstars aired on Saturday or Sunday morning and usually had like main event type matches every week. I don't think WWE can live up to that type of schedule anymore.

I'm thinking it will be more of a behind-the-scenes profiles on wrestlers and vignettes to promote storylines/wrestlers. Didn't WWE have a show like that a few years ago that was actually quite well done?

I really hope they don't do that. That show WILL crash and burn into the ground.

WWE Confidential with Mean Gene as a host.

It really was a great show, so of course WWE pulled the plug on it.

Gutter, that is an outstanding photo. My god what a match that was. Still get chills when I watch it youtube. I could see HBK doing the job if he faced Taker. It does make sense. Now... would HBK be willing?

That was a good match. I was rather upset with the ending when Ric Flair just allowed HBK to give him the Sweet Chin Music, though. I know it was symbolic with it being Flair's last match and that kick kind of signaling the end of his career had come, but I would have rathered a more contested finish.

I was OK with the ending. Having Flair, with tears in his eyes, tell HBK to bring it on gives me the chills.

Okay, so the Royal Rumble is the next upcoming PPV. Usually I'll have a hunch as to who will win the Royal Rumble, but I have zero idea this year. I have an awful feeling it'll be Triple H, but I think Orton could walk away with it.

I know WWE's plan is to have a Batisa/Cena match at WM 25, but I can't see Batisa winning it again this year after he won it back in 2005; elminating who else but John Cena to win it.

Depends who gets Cena at RR (they're doing an 8-man tournament to determine the No. 1 contender on the next three Raws, starting tonight).

Personally, Jericho winning an RR in sneaky fashion fits with his current character (and perhaps Orton, too), but I also can see a scenario where HBK wins and then because of JBL, he has to hand the title shot over to JBL to lengthen that lame angle.

Will Cena even be in it? Won't he still be the champ at the Rumble?

If I remember correctly, there are four matches on Raw tonight pitting former WWE Champions against one another. The winner of all four of those matches will then face each other in a Fatal Four Way at Raw next week to determine the #1 contender for the title at the Royal Rumble.
