2008 Running Pro Wrestling Thread

Fuck, they're really trying to pop a good rating for a second-tier PPV. They could easily keep Cena-Orton and Rey-Edge on the sidelines, or have them wrestle a tag match against each other. Though yeah, everything's geared towards Taker-Edge at WM. Edge-Rey would be the fourth biggest match on the card, maybe.

 

Two Elimination Chamber matches? That is way too much. Anyway, my vote for best pop/ovation was the RAW after the Wrestlemania between the Rock and Hogan. I think they were in Montreal and they would not let Hogan speak. Say what you want about Hogan, but that was a great moment.

 

I can't wait for the Randy Orton vs. JBL and Big Daddy V vs. Edge title matches at WrestleMania. I'm pumped!

 

The No Way Out card sounds better than the Royal Rumble card to me.

Orton-Cena, Edge-Rey, Flair-Kennedy, two Elimination Chamber matches. ... . I don't see how Wrestlemania's card will top this lineup.

 

I agree this is a stacked card. I only see the WWE adding maybe two or three other matches (CM Punk vs. Chavo? Noble vs. Palumbo? Divas match? Rhodes/Holly vs. Santino/Carlito?) because three of these matches (the two EC matches and Orton-Cena) are going to go atleast 20 minutes or so.

I missed Raw this week, can someone tell me why Cena will get his match at NWO instead of WM24?

 

My cynical guess is because, somehow, HHH ends up in the main event at WM, winning the title then.
