2008 Running Pro Wrestling Thread

I'm pretty sure he was working without a contract the last few weeks in TNA. The beatdown at the end of that one Impact was supposed to tell us that he was leaving TNA. Of course, he hasn't signed, so nothing's keeping him from returning.

 

They should really just let HBK book ALL the angles. That JBL/Rey finish was inspired.

 

I'm at work, what happened?

 

JBL was taking it to Rey. Rey mounts comeback. JBL gets on the ropes for 619. HBK appears to rescue JBL. Slaps him across face. Causes Rey the match because of outside interference. JBL announced as winner, smiles. Was one of four "play-in" matches for the Fatal Fourway to determine No. 1 contender.

Right now, it's HBK (over Kane), JBL, Orton (over Batista b/c he was unable to fight because of that fucking awesome boot shot to the head) and Jericho-Punk winner, which is coming up next.

Really looking forward to y2j and Punk match. Those two are really good wrestlers.

Also, Santino was again awesome. When he called Cena, 'John Chena,' Cena couldn't help himself but laugh. Then Santino's comment about Cena's partner needing to have ovaries was gold, too (no pun intended since it booted Goldust out of the match).

 

Also, when Cena was about 60-40 cheers to boos in that backstage spot with Santino to kick off the show. And Orton was about 40-60 cheers/boos.

 

Can I threadjack for a moment to say:

Wow, Randy Orton is gorgeous.
And please, WWE, remove Dolph Ziggler asap.

"It has been rumored for quite some time now that former WWE star Nathan Jones has signed a contract with TNA and will be debuting with the company. It's now being reported that Jones has indeed signed with TNA, and he is expected to be introduced either at the Genesis PPV in January or a short time after that. Although Jones has been signed for awhile now, his debut with TNA has been halted due to a motorcycle accident which took place while he was training for his US return. Jones was struck by a cement truck and suffered nerve damage in his arm, however is expected to recover fully and should be cleared to wrestle shortly."
