2008 Running Pro Wrestling Thread

I didn't realize he was that old until a few years ago. Wonder why (or even how) it took Vince so long to find him.

I thought she might be in the house once Kelly went to "check on her hotel room." Since all...like three...face Divas had vacated/already competed, I was half-jokingly like, "Maybe they'll bring out Trish." Speaking of Divas, WTF is up with Melina as a face, and what is up with that ring attire? Thought it was weird.

How exactly is this Fatal 4-Way gonna work? 3 heels (JBL, Orton, Jericho) and a face protecting the heel (HBK). Maybe there will be plenty of classic dirty tactics involved...

 

Wait, is it elimination rules or first pin wins? If it's elimination, I'd say HBK takes out Orton and Jericho and we play Choose Your Own Adventure with HBK-JBL (if we want to go back to that as a feud, HBK turns on HHH -- if we continue the angle, he does the job willingly). If it's first pin wins, then HBK superkicks Orton or Jericho and JBL pins.

 

OK, Raw mostly entertained me last night.

The cheering for Jericho was great. He was completely over win the crowd, which actually booed Punk! The match was really good and The Codebreaker was awesome.

Also, they booed the hell out of Cena. Did you see those signs? 'Cuck Fena' and 'We've Cena Nuff.' Now that's some funny stuff.

 

I always love it when the crowd doesn't cooperate and cheers the heels and boos the faces. Although I did read on Lance Storm's site that when he was with the WWE, heels would get in trouble with the office if the fans were cheering them too much. It was considered that the heels weren't doing their job, and Lance asked the fans not to cheer them, because jobs could be on the line.

And yeah, I was lovin' me some Trish last night.

 

Anyone else see that Mickie James got hurt last night. It was far too evident as she could barely stand up after her tag match with Melina vs. Jillian and Layla. I think she was injured when one of the divas (think it was Layla) threw her off the top rope and onto the floor.

 

Fail. That's what they get for being sucky wrestlers. Even though it;s very unfortunate.

 

I hope she's OK, but my brother and I both laughed when she hit the ground and quite clearly said, 'Aw shit!'

 

Melina looked to be nearly in tears as she tended to Micky after the match. By the way she was clutching her knee and how quickly the match ended, it would seem the injury is legit. Luckily, this injury won't cause too much of bother to the storylines as it seems WWE is pushing Melina to win Women's Title again.

 

Directly from www.f4wonline.com's update today -- "Thankfully Mickie James ended up OK after Raw last night despite taking a bad bump in her match."

It sure looked like she was injured but good for Mickie to not have a serious injury.

 

I think Rey said something similar in the JBL match. Seemed funny coming from a 5-foot-nothing face who looks 12
