I actually like the angle and think it's pretty damn funny. Don't know about a tag match, though, with Vince and Shane. Maybe a Findlay vs. Shane match, but not a tag team match.

From what I saw of this, this rivalry was pretty hot. Glad to see they'll pick it back up soon.

Love the MITB matches. Don't know who I want to win this one seeing as I want Hardy to get a run, yet I want Kennedy (... Kennedy!) to get his run from last year.

Indy level sloppy = pretty damn good wrestling.

But it doesn't surprise me to hear Punk's in the doghouse again.

One less muscle man for Vince to handle.

No surprise here, either. But if they're going to give him the slot, they need to go ahead and pull the trigger and turn him heel again.

Trips is at his best when he's a heel, and the fans eat it up. I know I do. I'm hoping for an angle where he turns on HBK (again) and then steps up to challenge Cena at Mania (if Cena beats Orton at NWO).

Triple H definitely had heelish tendencies when Cena came out Sunday night at the Rumble. I have a sinking feeling we're getting a three-way main event with Cena, H and Orton. Like him or not, Orton carried the Raw main event scene in Cena's absence, and there's not a whole lot else you can do with him at Wrestlemania if he's not in the title match.

And I'm at least mildly curious to know what "deal" Vince and Finley made in regards to Hornswaggle. Briefly mentioned a couple times a few weeks ago, and nothing since.

  3. Trips rightfully gets heat for a lot of things.

But lets all admit this: He's jobbed in enough Wrestlemanias where he deserves to win this year in the main event.

    Won't admit it. Don't agree.

It's past time for Trips to start building up some younger talent to carry the ball.

Trips lost all credibility with me when he beat up two tag teams, one of which was the reigning champions, at once.

Thank goodness I missed that. But hearing that now - ugh.

He'll be Snuka's age and still running through people. The sad thing is, Snuka has the same repertoire now as Triple H.

Speaking of Snuka -- have to admit it was pretty cool to see Piper and Snuka in the Royal Rumble.

Pure speculation here, but could anyone else see Triple H vs. Flair for the title at WM? It could be set up pretty easily:
    1) Trips wins the No Way Out match for the WM title shot
    2) Cena beats Orton for the title
    3) Flair, riding his winning streak, starts demanding a title shot; he gets it on a Raw and beats Cena; Cena then leaves for a while to film his movie
    4) Flair wins a couple title defenses, giving him one last short run with the belt (two or three weeks) leading into Wrestlemania
    5) Triple H beats Flair at Wrestlemania, allowing Flair to go out with a classic match against a good friend; it also lets Triple H get an ego boost from being the one to finally retire Flair (which can possibly lead into a heel turn since Triple H would be the heel in the WM match); In addition, Flair would probably be OK with Trips being the one to retire him
    6) If the rumors that the Undertaker are retiring after WM are true, you set up a double main event of the "new guard" (Edge and Triple H) vs. the legends (Undertaker and Flair). Undertaker-Edge could be the last match, so if they think Flair won't draw as a stand-alone main event they still have a good one to fall back on.

Again, just speculation. And hope. It'd be cool to see Flair come out of left field for a WM main event.

Where are the rumors about taker?

I've seen them mentioned on here a few times. I very well could be wrong, and if so please accept my humble apologies.

With all due respect to Flair, he's no longer a main event caliber wrestler or draw and that title match would help WM 24 receive horrible buyrates. WrestleMania's the biggest show of the year and the company's top star Cena will be involved in that title match somehow, whether it's 1-1 vs. Trips or Triple Threat vs. Trips and Orton.

I've read reports that have said HBK vs. Flair is what the WWE has currently planned for Orlando. And that sounds damn good to me, better than seeing Flair headline the big show when he's obviously well past his prime. Give those guys 15 minutes in an upper mid-card match and they can really tell a story in the ring. I went to a house show in the summer of '05 and saw those two completely steal the show.

And I can't see 'Taker going anywhere, despite the yearly whispering that he's calling it quits after Mania. He's still got a handful of years left in him...he can still wrestle at a very high level for a big man and is as over as anyone not named Cena. I can't wait for that Undertaker-Edge feud and match. I could definitely see it lasting for a string of PPV's like UT-Batista last year.

Indeed. I liked how the other wrestlers in the ring stopped and started watching when the two of them started mixing it up.

I also heard the rumor of Michaels vs. Flair. Maybe they would try to set Michaels up for a heel run against a champion HHH. They haven't had HHH as a babyface meet Michaels as a heel yet.
