And they're taping next week's show tonight as well. So our boy Rump gets a twofer.

So I just turned on USA and am now seeing Vince get his ass buffered and smothered with ass cream.

    Instant channel-changer.

VKM is one guy I wouldn't RIP if he were gone.

VKM's promos are getting weaker and weaker every year. He lost his touch without Austin and Rocky.

Got back from the show tonight...it was my first in about 15 years.

I must say wrestling has changed for the worse.

Maybe it was because the wrestlers were giving half of their effort because they had to tape two shows. Maybe it was because the moves looked even more fake than I ever remembered. Maybe it was the wrestling itself where little pockets of people were chanting "You can't wrestle" to even Shawn Michaels.

It's changed. Not for the better.

Chanting "You Can't Wrestle" to HBK? Seriously?

I've been to dozens of shows over the last 15 years or so, including last year's WrestleMania, a Royal Rumble, a SummerSlam, a King of the Ring, a Nitro, an ECW on TNN taping, and most recently, a Raw a few weeks back and it has always been a fantastic experience.

The one problem with having a live show every week, and two other shows, is that the writing and performances get stale from time-to-time. There's roughly 50 Raw episodes per year, two hours each. That's 100 hours of TV to fill (not counting commercials). Considering that network TV shows air perhaps 22 half-hour or full-hour episodes, what WWE does is pretty remarkable.

Then again, you have the Kiss My Ass segments. In Foley's last book, he suggested that Terry Funk bite McMahon's rear end, and it eventually got rejected. Now the WWE lets Hornswoggle do it. Sometimes, you do have to wonder what they are thinking.

  8. If you ever get the chance, go to a Ring of Honor show. That will change your opinion.

I almost stopped watching after that segment. Then an announcement for a Cena/Henry arm wrestling contest came and I was done with it. Could careless who won it.

Nobody won it (there's a surprise) because Orton interfered. Cena F-Ued Henry after the match, which I admit was pretty cool.

It was surprisingly a good segment. Well done feud thus far, kind of old school and Orton's way over as a heel. He knows how to play the part and Henry did a fine job as well. I wouldn't mind seeing Henry become Orton's enforcer.

But yeah, Raw was pretty much garbage. Nobody cares about the Kiss my Ass Club. The more this McMahon-Hornswoggle angle continues, the more I think we are going to see McMahon vs. Finlay at WrestleMania. I did like the main event match, but it seems like Jeff Hardy keeps on racking up these wins that gets him nowhere in the long run.

I really think moving Hardy to Smackdown for a feud with Edge where they trade the title back and forth would be in his best interest. I can't see him getting a run with the starpower on Raw, especially the strong batch of faces like Cena, Trips, Jericho, and HBK.

Pro wrestling arm wrestling gimmicks are sooo fucking lame, even worse than watching a couple of indy rookies try to do high spots.

In real life, there's no way in hell John Cena could touch Mark Henry in an arm wrestling match. There's no one in WWE, in fact, that could put Henry down.

Then they have that lame-ass Henry has his arm almost down and Cena powers back. No fucking way.

Raw sucks every time I hear VKM's music hit.
