Perhaps the biggest news coming out of Monday's press conference are stories that Mayweather will make $20 million for appearing at Wrestlemania against Big Show.

Shane McMahon is apparently the one who put this deal together.

$20 million for a one-shot deal? Are they trying to rekindle the WCW brand now?

Ain't no way no how that Mayweather is going to bring in anywhere near $20 million in revenue at WM.

Must be nice to have that kind of money to waste.

So ... no one has any comments on Raw tonight?

How bout the twist with the Hornswoggle McMahon angle?

Finally. It's a good twist. Gets it away from the ridiculosity that it started off with. If they keep it going - and they prove it as true - they certainly get what started as a good angle back on track.

Indeed. Good twist, finally. Should be interesting to see what comes from this.

Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho was a tremendous match, especially the last few minutes. Umaga's splash off the top rope was pretty nice. The Rock inducting his grandfather and father into the HoF makes you wonder if he'll be at WrestleMania the following night.

Regal mentioned a Brand vs. Brand match at WrestleMania. My guess is Umaga vs. Batista. Also HBK vs. Flair is confirmed, which should be a pretty good legend vs. legend showdown. Speaking of the Nature Boy, he's 59 today.

Y2J vs. Hardy was the best match of the night. But I wonder what this means for Hardy? He's been in the last few MITB matches, no?

The optimist in me says Hardy wins MITB, Orton wins the WM 3-way via chicanery and shenanigations, then Hardy cashes in right away and wins the title. The more likely scenario is Cena winning, and I think everyone can agree that there's almost no chance Orton leaves Orlando with the belt.

If Hardy wins the strap, get rid of the spinner belt. If Cena wins, you obviously keep it.

HHH, to Cena, in the opening segment: "You might not appreciate that Pedigree last week, and a lot of people didn't appreciate that Pedigree..."

Dozens in the few front rows: "I DID!"

Laugh-out-loud funny. There's no way they can put the strap on anyone but Cena. Love him (little kids, ladies) or hate him (everyone else), he gets a reaction.

Or Triple H wins, then gets pinned by Hardy (who won MITB), giving Hunter another cheap addition to the title count. See: No Mercy 2007.

I know there's weeks to pump up the match, but I'm not excited about the main event in the slightest.

    Other thoughts from Raw ...
    - The following is a World Tag Team Championship match, scheduled for one afterthought ...
    - It's time for a Playboy shoot, so the Divas who can actually wrestle some (Mickie, Beth - the fucking champion) aren't even on the damn show.
    - Why does it feel like Jericho's been back for three months and it seems I've only actually watched four of his matches? Turn him heel already so he'll be worth a shit.
    - Likewise, turn Hunter heel or put DX back together. Otherwise, he's boring as shit.
    - Hornswoggle may not be Vince's son, and not too many in attendance seemed to give a fuck. End this.
    - Just let Cena win so he can be champ when his next movie bombs. This is like experiencing No Holds Barred and Mr. Nanny all over again.
    - Raw vs. SmackDown brand superiority match? Batista doesn't have an angle.
    - Michaels vs. Flair. Showstopper vs. Nature Boy. The only good thing to come out of Flair's retirement is that we'll get a hell of a story come WM24.
