Mayweather getting booed before even coming out ... and Milwaukee isn't really De la Hoya Country.

    That's some solid booking, eh?

  3. This RAW is boring me to tears, with the exception of the Hardy, Y2J. My time would have been better spent playing College Hoops 2K8. Just two more online wins for the achievement!

Three-hour Raws do that. At least in Nitro's three-hour days, they would start out with a hot angle, then devote most of the first hour or more to the cruiserweights/luchas and the undercard.

  5. That is true. This is RAW is just random shit. I know it's supposed to be WM Rewind, but how many times have then done that before? What a difference between this year's build to WM compared to last year. I mean why was there not some kind of Taker, Edge confrontation tonight? Give us a little something.

Do you guys think Jericho is being pushed to mid-card after winning IC title? I hope not, his comeback has been a bit of a letdown.

  7. I think a bit may be the understatement of the year. Don't know how much creative control guys like Jericho have, but I find it hard to believe he signed up for this.

Is it too late for them to pull the plug on the Mayweather-Big Show fiasco? It sounds like they may be setting that up now, with Mayweather's injured elbow.

As far as storylines go, this is one of the worst ones ever. And can Mayweather say anything but "Last time I broke your nose, this time I'm gonna break your jaw"?

I just keep waiting for the crowd to start chanting "This is stupid!"

Jericho signed up for it for the cash, sadly. That match brought the house down. So worth it.

I fell asleep mid-Trip/Kane. The non-match between the US Express (who knew THEY were alive?) and Iron Sheik/Volkoff pissed me off. Don't bring them out just to have them there, then annoy the fuck out of us with Jillian fucking Hall. That's an insult to those guys and an insult to everyone watching. I was hoping for a match.

I taped everything I missed. I don't even know if I want to watch.

Loved the Jericho/Hardy match. Unfortunantly, their mini-feud is getting buried. They should have Jericho come out next week and boast about winning the IC belt to give it some importance. However, WWE probably will blow it.

Trips/Kane has been done to death. I have no interest. If they really wanted to draw a pop, they should have done Trips/Undertaker, even if it would be a double-DQ/no contest, etc.

Agree totally on the old-timer's match. They do the intros, then have Jillian come out, and then, no match? It struck me as very WCW-ish. Why did they even bother? They could have devoted more time to one of the other matches.

I enjoyed the Big Show/Mayweather segment. Mayweather isn't that good on the mic (understandable, since he's not a trained wrestler), but his mannerisms were good. And Show did a surprisingly good promo.

Episode also had a couple unscripted moments, such as Michaels screwing up his promo with Flair, and Shane McMahon getting knocked down on the ramp. Fun to see with a live show.
