If Joe and Punk hooked up in WWE, they'd get 6 minutes and a runin from the Highlanders or Santino, while Jamie Noble and Paul London job to Snitsky and Chuck Palumbo. Benjamin would need a few weeks to shake off the curse of WWE-style before he could break out an ROH-level match

Why do I get the feeling that the worst is yet to come for Jeff Hardy?

    What a damn shame.

Old-school World Class Championship Wrestling fans will remember this guy (item from Wrestlezone.com):

"Gary Hart passed away yesterday afternoon at his home in Euless, TX, after returning from an autograph session in Allentown, PA. He was 66.

Hart would have been among the top wrestling managers of all-time and was a fixture in the Dallas area working for Fritz Von Erich. He was best known for managing people like Bruiser Brody, The Spoiler, Great Kabuki, Chris Adams and the Great Muta.

Hart was the heel manager used when Eddie Graham and booker Bill Watts turned Dusty Rhodes babyface in Florida in 1974. As a booker, he was the mastermind of the building of Kerry Von Erich in Dallas in the early 80s, and booked the famous Christmas 1982 cage match with Ric Flair that ignited the territory."

    RIP

That's a shame. Gary Hart was one of the greatest managers ever -- a cool, calculating and edgy type that brought to mind Jake Roberts in his prime in an era where most managers, from Percy Pringle to Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Jimmy Hart, went for the overdramatics.

At least Hart got to live to a relatively old age, unlike half the WCCW roster.

RIP to Gary Hart. Mystery Meat captured him perfectly and yes, another link to the World Class days is gone.

If you give the man respect ... that would be "Playboy Gary Hart" to those of us who grew up watching Paul Boesch's Houston Wrestling programs on KHTV, Channel 39. Now that's some old-school stuff. Sorry to hear that about Gary Hart. Saw him interviewed about World Class days. Offered great insights into the business of pro wrestling.

    RIP Gary.

Heaven forbid this news of Hart goes into its own thread on Sports and News because Donna Rice and Monkey Business would be brought back up by those NOT in the know about pro wrestling.

Show has been "money" on the mic since his return.

I have to agree. Show seems so much more comfortable on the mic than ever before. I think he'll take the IC Title tonight.

Show has been brilliant on the mic so far. The segment with Y2J was pretty damn good.

And Claws, WTF are you talking about? I haven't been around much since earlier today ...

Gary Hart the wrestling manager passed away, not Gary Hart the former presidential candidate and Colorado politician who had to bow out of the 1988 race when photos surfaced of his affair with Donna Rice. Famous photo was of Rice on hart's lap in front of a boat that said Monkey Business. I guess you're WAY too young to remember.
