Kane is really, really out of shape.

I like John Morrison. He's got potential.

Who will win the battle royal for a shot at Chavo? It has to be a face so maybe Kane? Maybe they'll throw a swerve and put Matt Hardy or somebody fresh in the match.

  2. I think it's going to be Kane. It's funny Kane looks out of shape cause Batista said in his book the Big Red Machine knows where all the good gyms are in each city they travel to. Time for him to put that knowledge to some use.

It'd be kind of nice to give Kane a title reign, but he's an awful wrestler nowadays. He used to be a pretty good big man. Bring back the mask!

You know who I wouldn't count out participating in the battle royal? RVD. WWE brought him back for a one-time Raw gig to squash Santino a few months ago to the surprise of almost every wrestling mark. He may not win it, but with 20+ men, are we really going to have to see only the likes of Chuck Palumbo, Mark Henry, and Big Daddy V? Hopefully there's a surprise or two because I could see this Rumble match flopping hard.

Next week's Smackdown is featuring MVP vs. Chris Jericho for the first time ever. Should be a good one between two of my favorites.

Regarding Impact, TNA is finally beginning to take Angle vs. Samoa Joe seriously. About damn time. The buildup on Impact was excellent and from what I've heard, the two are planning to put on quite an innovative MMA-esque match inside the cage at Lockdown next month (which I'll be at). Put Karen and AJ Styles soap opera on the backburner and let these two feud. I would love to see Samoa Joe win and then start a world title program with AJ Styles. Along with Christopher Daniels, they had a fantastic feud a few years ago.

Also, Sting is scheduled to make a return next Thursday on Impact in its first ever live edition. Also, a commercial free main event and online voting to see who faces Awesome Kong on the show. I'm betting Sting takes the final spot in Team Christian when they face off against Team Tomko at Lockdown.

I may tune back into Impact if they'll get rid of Karen Angle and Vince Russo and get back to having the great workers they have actually, you know, work.

Angle and Joe could be an all-time classic feud, a la the likes Of Brisco-Funk, Race-Flair and a few others. But get rid of the bullshit soap opera and get back to basics. Adding the realism content with training packages is the way to go.

  5. I've watched bits and pieces of TNA lately and it's been better. Boston, I'm jealous you're going to see those two go at it. Should be fun.

It would be like TNA to piss down their legs and have Karen do a run-in and clobber Kurt before running off with Joe.

They've got some real talent if they would use it correctly. Joe, Angle, Christian, A.J., Kaz (who really needs a new name), and a few others.
Instead, we are force-fed Karen Angle, Kevin Nash and 3-D.

Agreed. Their upper shelf talent (which should also include a vastly improved Tomko and Robert Roode once he gets away from this BS angle with Booker T) more than holds its own with WWE if used correctly. The last couple of shows seems like they are finally getting towards it. I could do without Eric Young, Black Reign and Judas Macias, and it looks like the Jay Lethal-Sonjay Dutt-So Cal Val love triangle has career-killing potential for all three parties.

I'd love to see Curry Man win the X-Belt and unmask as Christopher Daniels. Dude does have some sick dancing skills, but it's time to let him come back as the talented champ he once was. They'd really boost things if they somehow brought Konnan back as the leader of LAX and let them resume the monster heel run they had in late 2006.

I really like Kaz and Roode both. Roode reminds me of a young Ravishing Rick Rude, but yes, end that Booker T angle now.

I get the sense that if Roode was in WWE, he would be over. He has the kind of in-ring persona and mic skills that would make him a star. I'd love to see him get a push after this angle with Booker T is (hopefully) finished at Lethal Lockdown.

At the same breath, does Booker T. ask himself, "I left the WWE for this?" I wouldn't go King Booker with him, but he may be better served with a heel turn.

I love Roode...and I am the only one who really, really likes Petey Williams? I've followed him for years and think it's time for a big push.

I would love to see Christopher Daniels get another run. Dude can wrestle. Also, what happened to Konnan running LAX?

Another thing ... Isnt Roode Rick's son?
