I was thinking De La Hoya. That would be pretty incredible.

I wouldn't put Sting in my top 5, but right again, I left him off by mistake.

Props for those who mentioned Ricky Morton, too. Had he been bigger, he would have been in Shawn Michaels territory for being a star. A hell of an underrated worker. But so was Bobby Eaton, who I think was the better of the two.

For me, pro wrestling was like college basketball and football for others: I grew up on it, ate, drank and slept it for more than 35 years. I can't change how I was raised.

But you're right: I am as passionate about my favorite wrestlers as I am about my other favorite athletes (George Brett, Joe Montana and Dr. J). And I hate guys like Hogan, Dusty and HHH as much as I hate the Dodgers, Lakers, Raiders, UCLAs and USCs of the world. :p

Eaton was excellent in the ring, but I believe he was either very shy about talking on the mic, or just was unable to do an interview. I remember watching a Midnight Express promo in which Cornette and Lane did all the talking, and all Eaton did was nod his head.

Flair said in his book that Morton could have been as big a star as Michaels, but chose not to leave Gibson behind.

Damn solid. I can't disagree with any of this, except it's probably too early for JBL to lose such a high-profile match.

Mayweather is getting beat down, so his posse hits the ring to make the save. Mayweather turns on his posse and teams with Big Show to clean house. The two leave the ring together to a standing ovation.

    How's that?

I was thinking if they did have a boxer run-in to help Mayweather perhaps it would be someone they've already featured on TV in the past few weeks? Tarver, Holyfield, Roy Jones, etc.

I am a huge mark for wrestling and was at WM23 with ringside seats last year...I've been a member of this site for a while but just stumbled across this forum last night so look for me to be posting more.

Favorite Wrestlemania moment for me was Rock-Hogan at WM18 in the Skydome. The crowd was absolutely amazing and loved the way they turned on Rock throughout the match even though he was the babyface and all the reactions when Hogan kicked out of the Rock Bottom and delivered a Leg drop, etc.

Speaking of that, anyone get the feeling that not having Flair-Michaels last or Edge-Taker last will snooze the crowd like it did at WM18? Half the place emptied out after Rock-Hogan and the crowd was dead for HHH over Jericho for the "unified" straps. I thought Taker-Batista was too early in the card last year as well.

We all know they will promote Raw as top brand and have 3-way last (which I hate, WM is about one-on-one matches) but I think a lot of the hardcore fans want Flair last, as I bet that match steals the show.
