Won 35-33 at Iowa State, but trailed 20-0 at halftime and twice let the Cyclones march down the field to score touchdowns late rather than making a stop to put the game away.

in the history of college football, i don't think a team has beaten a 1-loss team ON THE ROAD and dropped 7 spots.

and mizzougrad ... point to me (vandy is hungry this year).

    you pick the next game.

Top stays status quo, but an influx of teams penetrate the bottom half, including one loser, which sets a precedent in P.O.'s poll. It's time to give other teams some love. Auburn sucks (hi tom petty!), as does USF, as does Wisconsin (hi perennially overrated!). Watch out for Ball State. Nate Davis is a S-T-U-D. Oklahoma State and Vandy made the biggest jumps.

    1. Oklahoma (LW: 1)

Because I leapfrogged some undefeateds and dropped Southern Cal, I had to drop Ohio State as well because of their loss to the Trojans. And if I'm looking at 1-loss teams, TCU lost by 25 at my No. 2, Kentucky lost to my No. 3 by 3. Plus, all the undefeateds are in my top 18. The Buckeyes lost by 32 at my No. 13.

Missouri jumps over LSU to No. 2. Was already heading that way, and Saturday just clinched it for me.
USC got the big jump up, as did Vanderbilt.
I kept South Florida pretty high, because Pittsburgh does have some players. Once in a while, that's going to outway coaching. Plus, I don't know if there's anyone below them who could beat them.
North Carolina is the newbie to the poll, taking Duke's spot.
