It's not as fun as Memphis and the Liberty Bowl.

Please note this memo from Webby.

If voters wish to email their ballots in, please PM me for the address. Despite what it says on my profile, I do not use that email address ever.

How far do the Sooners fall, and how much do the Longhorns jump, if any.
    In my opinion:
    1. Oklahoma falls to around 8-10, that's what I've been doing all year.
    2. If Mizzou wins HUGE, they are the new No. 1
    3. If LSU wins HUGE, they are the new No. 1
    4. If both win HUGE, then LSU is No. 1 cause Florida is better than Oklahoma State
    5. If either lose, the other is naturally No. 1
    6. If both lose or win by between 1-3 points, Texas is my new No. 1 for beating Oklahoma by 10.
    7. Yes, I am that crazy to think through all these possibilities at 4:50 in the afternoon when nothing much else has happened today other than the OU-Texas game.

Is there a good story behind this or was it something stupid?

    Previous spot in paranthesis:

    1. Texas (5)
    2. Alabama (2)
    3. Penn State (7)
    4. BYU (6)
    5. Texas Tech ( 8 )
    6. Oklahoma State (19)
    7. Kansas (9)
    8. Georgia (11)
    9. USC (10)
    10. Florida (13)
    11. Utah (15)
    12. Oklahoma (1)
    13. Ohio State (14)
    14. South Florida (16)
    15. Boise State (17)
    16. Virginia Tech (18)
    17. Missouri (3)
    18. LSU (4)
    19. North Carolina (21)
    20. Michigan State (22)
    21. Pittsburgh (23)
    22. Ball State (24)
    23. Tulsa (UNR)
    24. Vanderbilt (12)
    25. TCU (UNR)

    Notes:
-- Oklahoma State makes big jump from No. 19 to No. 6 with its win over Missouri, which fell 14 spots to No. 17. The Pokes are unbeaten and my top six teams are all undefeated. Boise State, Ball State and Tulsa are the only undefeated teams who aren't in the Top 10 or better.
-- Texas leapfrogs Bama for No. 1 with its win over Oklahoma. Depending on the outcome of Mizzou-Okie State, I was going to have Mizzou No. 1, Texas No. 2 and Bama No. 3.
-- Penn State and Joe Pa, welcome to the Top 3. The Lions' huge win over Wiscy was much more impressive than the Cougs' win.
-- Vandy, we hardly knew ye. Third-biggest fall in my poll, down 12 spots to No. 24.
-- Bye bye, LSU. What a choke job to the Urban Meyer-led Gators.

    --------
I know there are two games left to be played, but none of those teams are anywhere near being ranked yet.

I wonder how many fanbois/oblivious people will rank Aubie this week?

Extra credit: guess how many of those ballots will be thrown back as not giving a best effort

Just got back home from a four-hour ride from Dallas after covering OU-Texas
    Just sent to Slappy

1.Texas-- Beat No. 1, and with everyone else losing, they are it
2.Alabama-- With lots of losses, they get in good graces
    3.Penn State-- See No. 2
4.Oklahoma-- Played well, lost due to losing best linebacker
    5.Southern Cal--See No. 2
6.Oklahoma State -- The defense played as well as an offense to beat my No. 2 of last week. I never thought they'd be this high... EVER!
    7.BYU
    8.Utah
9.Missouri-- You can't lose at home to Oklahoma State
10.Florida -- Nice win at home, if BYU and Utah weren't unbeaten and there last week they would be higher
11.LSU -- Sucks man, you lost the most this week but the Gators did hang 51 on you
12.Texas Tech -- They would have capitalized if they wouldn't have barely beaten NEBRASKA... IN OVERTIME
    13.Georgia
    14.Ohio State
15.North Carolina -- Like the win over the Domers
16.Tulsa -- Stay alive and keep climbing boys!
17.TCU-- Only loss to Oklahoma, they aren't that bad
    18.Boise State
    19.Virginia Tech
    20.Michigan State
    21.South Florida
22.Kansas -- Welcome back Hawks, see you in Norman
    23.Ball State
    24.Wake Forest
25.Vanderbilt -- Sorry mate, you're lucky that there aren't that many other teams

Welcome to: Wake Forest, Michigan State (sorry it took a win over Northwestern to get my interest), Kansas, Ball State

    Farewell folks!
    Auburn, Illinois, Wisconsin, Fresno State

Why would Texas Tech move up three spots when it nearly lost at home to terrible Nebraska?

The Red Raiders are far from a top-5 team.
