I always thought it was sad and naive how 'newbs' get treated here. I also now realize it's easier to attack number of posts than it is to explain yourself. I mean, why is Texas Tech No. 3?

Oh, so you've just changed nicknames. Good for you.

Now if you'll go back to my preseason poll, you'll see I had many teams in front of TT. Those teams have lost, TT hasn't. So it has moved up a little each week. I'm confident the Red Raiders won't finish the season undefeated, so in a few weeks the poll will have corrected itself.

Maybe next year you can join the poll and show us your brilliance.

Just seems weird to me to put a team that you don't have confidence in at the No. 3 spot, especially since it's based on your preseason projection. You know so much more now than you did then, so why not take advantage of that?

PD, I don't have much confidence in any team in my top 5 except Texas.

Everybody does their polls differently. Your way is no more "right," than mine is. That's the beauty, and major flaw, with the poll system.

I understand that. And not to belabor the point, but I'd understand more if you just slid everyone up, but you didn't. You jumped Bama over Texas Tech, if I'm reading correctly.
