They're the Gophers, beetus! Wait for them to win one more, and they'll screw it up!

Ah, well, they've done their jobs. Hockey season starts Friday.

Mine for Week 7 (with movement from last week). A little bit more leap-frogging than usual from me this time, since Florida's and Oklahoma State's (road) wins were so impressive:

    1. Texas +2
    2. Alabama +3
    3. Oklahoma -1
    4. Penn State +4
    5. USC +2
    6. Texas Tech -
    7. Florida +4
    8. Georgia +1
    9. LSU -8
    10. Missouri -6
    11. BYU -1
    12. Oklahoma State +8
    13. Ohio State -1
    14. Kansas -1
    15. Utah -
    16. Boise State -
    17. Michigan State +6
    18. Virginia Tech -1
    19. Wake Forest -1
    20. Vanderbilt -6
    21. North Carolina NR
    22. Oregon -
    23. California NR
    24. Tulsa -
    25. Ball State -

In: North Carolina (21), Cal (23)
    Out: Auburn (19), Northwestern (21)

What do Penn State teams of the past have to do with this year's team and its ranking?

    A money market account.

Now if I were to dip into my poker/horse racing fund, I'd probably go with Texas based on what I saw this past weekend. But I wouldn't be confident in getting an ROI on it. I like Brown, but he'd scare me as a gambler.

Both defenses left a little to be desired.

B-dubs, this Mizzou grad/fan has to ask: Why do you have the Tigers ranked higher than Okie State?

Maybe the fact that they have consistently choked their ass off since joining the Big 10 in 1993.
Since joining they have won the conference outright once, in 1994.
They have lost every game to Michigan during the Lloyd Carr era and can not, and have, not won in Columbus - site of this year's game - since 1978.
And don't forget the fact PSU has managed a Big Ten hiccup every year - save 1994 (genuflect) - since. The Lions somehow, someway find a way to lose to Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan St. or somebody along the line.
I'm having a hard time ranking the Lions as high as they are.. I just don't believe it yet.

You're just trying to avoid Zeke's wrath. And Dickens, Flash was a true noob when she posted about 600 times her first two days.
