Actually, it is. It's the second time in two days someone's brought this up.
If I see it a third from an poll member, they won't have to worry about voting next week. Or any week.

I got the impression PO was messing around (and poking fun at those who make the "Go away; you don't have a vote" argument).

    I could be wrong.

    Great read, slappy.

6 points separating the top 3 ... fantastic.

I think you are partly responsible, using math and all to come up with a "poll."

    Pfft.

Can't argue with that, because you are actually basing it on games this year.

To not put a team in the top spot, just because a different team from the same conference didn't do well LAST YEAR, well, that's just plain stupid.

You have to base on games THIS YEAR. It is THIS YEAR'S poll, not last years.

    Yup.

I certainly have no problem with putting Penn State No. 1, for instance. They've taken on their schedule and have yet to falter.

Ohio State's losses in consecutive title games have less than nothing to do with how Penn State should be perceived this season. Yet, when you're in a conference that is acknowledged to be in a down period, your nonconference skeddy needs to be better than theirs is for this voter to be impressed.

Amen, Piotr. Don't know why so many damn people will punish an undefeated Penn State team for Ohio State's shortcomings.

It's stupid to base your vote on stuff that happened last year or the year before.

And my poll is done like Piotr's: Texas was my top team last week and Penn State was No. 2. It was only fair of me, at least IMO, to put Penn State there this week.

Same here, KYWS. I had Penn State No. 2 for several weeks now, so it was logical to move them up.

I've also had Texas Tech in the top five or six most of the year too.
