Ahhhh, Penn State loses and I am pleased. Now things are starting to look like I know they are to be.

And judging by that BS holding call that just nullified a Bama touchdown, Bama's not meant to win tonight, either.

But Bama wins and I still will have them ranked at No. 5 or below. Like I said a few pages ago, Bama had to beat LSU by 35 or more to make the statement to me that they are the No. 1 team, or even in the top 5. Florida is the SEC team that will likely be near the top.

If Bama screws up and somehow beats the Gators, would you mind if they crashed your BCS thingy? Kthaxbye.

What if they finish the season and the SEC championship undefeated? You don't think that makes them an automatic title game contestant? It does to me, considering several good teams have hit speed bumps against similar or easier schedules, ie. Florida, USC, Penn State.

Obviously it's not easy to go undefeated. I think that deserves some credit. If Alabama finishes undefeated, I think they would deserve to be there against a 1-loss Big 12 opponent.

Oh yeah, I have the SEC champion taking on the Big 12 champion for the title. If Alabama finishes unbeaten, and beats Florida in the title game, then they get props. But they are just holding on by the skin of their teeth, and I think Florida could roll them up.

You think one of those Big 12 teams would have beaten LSU on the road by 35?

Won't be a problem. Given what we're learning about UGa, it's becoming clear that Bama's big win is rather less than it seemed at the time.

I'm waiting for Slappy to come on here and start crowing about Western Michigan beating Illinois.

I'd consider them for the poll, but any team that can't beat EMU by more than 21 points doesn't deserve to be in the poll.

Hank, WMU was my last team in, believe it or not. Who else is worthy of being No. 25 at this point in the season?

    Previous spot in paranthesis:

    1. Texas Tech (2)
    2. Alabama (3)
    3. Texas (4)
    4. Florida (5)
    5. Oklahoma (6)
    6. USC ( 8 )
    7. Boise State (9)
    8. Penn State (1)
    9. Utah (10)
    10. BYU (12)
    11. Georgia (11)
    12. Ohio State (13)
    13. Ball State (14)
    14. North Carolina (16)
    15. Oklahoma State (7)
    16. Michigan State (19)
    17. Missouri (17)
    18. Cincinnati (21)
    19. LSU (18)
    20. Tulsa (23)
    21. TCU (15)
    22. Florida State (UNR)
    23. Pittsburgh (UNR)
    24. South Carolina (UNR)
    25. Western Michigan (UNR)

Yes, I think Tech could beat them easily by that, and so could Oklahoma, Texas and Oklahoma State.

Ahhh, it's the attack of Boise State.

So, you moved Boise State up two spots because they beat all-mighty Utah State at home, but Utah only moves up one spot despite beating ranked TCU?

    What the fuck is that?
