How anyone can have three one-loss teams ahead of Bama is beyond me.

But what do I know? I jumped an undefeated Boise State team two spots this week.

That's bullshit, PD... I explained myself last week, chief.

Oklahoma has been very explosive, especially the last few weeks. I've got one at 3 and one at 4.... both beat inferior conference competition this week, I thought Okla was more dominant. That's all... it's not like I have Okla at 3 and Texas at 8 or something. Plus it follows what I've had... you can't look at one poll, it's a season long process.

It's hard to explain the three one-loss teams above Bama tho, isn't it?

Alabama is undefeated, yes. But I think a lot of why they have been so high is the win against Georgia. I think the others have been better, despite each one having a hiccup.

You got Georgia and LSU ranked 14th and 15th, respectively, so obviously you believe those road wins by Alabama ought to count for something. It's not like the Tide lost to Ole Miss at home.

I think the issue sometimes is the "why."

Alabama is undefeated in the second-best conference. They won at Georgia and at LSU, two impressive wins. With some voters now, it's like winning on the road at Athens and Baton Rouge isn't important anymore. Alabama is 10-0. Where's the credit for that?

    As for Texas ...

Texas cannot be ranked behind Oklahoma. Same record. Texas beat 'em head to head. It's just common sense.
