BCS standings will decide it, then ;)

I asked this question on the running thread. I can't help but think Texas Tech is the odd-man out if they lose to Oklahoma, leaving voters to choose between Texas and OK. If OK blows out TT, then that's a tough decision to make - even if Texas did beat OK. Though I probably would go with Texas, since they barely lost to TT and beat OK on neutral ground.

Well fortunately, Big 12 plays for a title, so I'd go with the team who goes on to play for it.

What if they lose in the championship game? ;)

Wouldn't that be a clusterfuck? Let's say OK is picked to go to the championship game and loses? 1-loss Texas or 1-loss TT would look awfully tempting at that point.

    Here's my meaningless Top 10

    1. Alabama
    2. Texas Tech
(Or TT and Alabama. It doesn't really matter. They're the only two unbeatens who matter at this point and being 1 or 2 doesn't matter as long as you're not No. 3 or lower.)
    3. Texas - Tough, last-second loss to a good team on the road.
    4. Florida
    5. Oklahoma - I won't argue with anyone who puts them ahead of Florida. I guess I'm just curious to see what they do against TT and OK State.
    6. USC
    7. Penn State
    8. Utah
    9. Georgia
    10. Ohio State

I looked at all the two loss teams and I figured what the hell ... I've seen a lot of them this year and I think they would beat Ohio State, Missouri and Boise State. But really, I don't think it much matters after the Top 7.

Eesh...I've seen Georgia a few times and haven't been impressed with them at all outside of Moreno.

I just thought about this, what happens to USC is Oregon State wins the Pac 10? They need to win thrice more to pull off the neigh-impossible. Does that mean the Trojans get left out in the cold (considering that they will likely not play for the national title)?

They could still make it into a BCS bowl as an at-large, right? Especially since the Big 12 and SEC are limited to two bids each.
