OUT: UNC, Florida State, South Carolina, LSU, Arizona, Va. Tech
IN: BYU, Oregon, Northwestern, Iowa, Central Michigan
UNDER PROTEST: I was all set to leave out the ACC entirely, but that would have meant leaving LSU in the poll, where they do not belong. Miami looked like the the least offensive of an unpromising lot.

Beating conference teams 32-7 to stay undefeated, I guess, doesn't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things.

It's about 60 percent Florida looked that damn good and 40% sandbagging. If Bama wants to be the champ, they've got a clear path ahead. Who could ask for more?

This team could be like Bama's last championship -- lacking on style points, but the right mix to win a championship. All this talk about how the Gators are going to destroy 'Bama reminds me of how much talk the 'Canes were going to do the same heading into the Sugar Bowl, and we saw how that turned out.

So JPW's 1-yard TD plunges aren't as impressive as Tebow's 1-yard TD plunges?

    Anyhoo ...

1, Alabama (what more do you want from them, Bama haters?)
2, Texas Tech (I wish I could be a fly on the wall of Lubbock this week to feel the vibration of anticipation.)
3, Florida (yep, I jumped 'em over Texas and USC. Spurrier's team sucks, but the Gators are tearing it up.)
    4, USC (OK, it wasn't pretty. But it's a 28-point win; last-second touchdown notwithstanding.)
5, Texas (Still might be the best pound-for-pound team.)
    6, Oklahoma
    7, Utah
    8, Boise State
    9, Penn State
    10, Ohio State
    11, Oklahoma State
    12, Missouri
    13, Ball State
    14, Brigham Young
15, Michigan State (Can you say Big 10 champions?)
    16, Texas Christian
    17, Oregon
    18, Oregon State
    19, Georgia
    20, Cincinnati
    21, Pittsburgh
    22, Miami, Florida
    23, Maryland
    24, Central Michigan
    25, Louisiana State

honestly. how does anyone have florida ranked above usc? florida lost to miss. state while usc lost to bcs no. 21 oregon state. yet you fuckwads, including king douche paperdragon, continue to rank florida higher. explain your sec bias.
