The Gators' wins are far, far better.

Yeah, their loss is worse, too. That's a point in USC's favor. But not enough of one, for me.

USC and Florida and Texas and Okie would be the same slot for me if I could, but the Ol' Slapcoach won't let us do that.

yes. i think usc is no. 5. alabama, tech, texas, oklahoma, usc, florida. as much as it pains me to say it, i foresee an oklahma-florida final. even if mizzou beats the big 12 south team, i think texas makes it over usc.

Your top six is mine, too. I got USC fifth and the Gators sixth, based on Oregon State on the road and Ole Miss at home.

As a rule, I hate flip-flopping teams after a win. But Florida's wins are so much more impressive that the one bad loss isn't as much of a deterrent. Florida's simply a better team.
