    8/28 Northeastern 1-0 (0-0) W 48-14
    9/05 Navy 2-0 (0-0) W 35-23
    9/13 @ Akron 3-0 (1-0) W 41-24
    9/20 @ Indiana 4-0 (1-0) W 42-20
    9/27 Kent State 5-0 (2-0) W 41-20
    10/04 @ Toledo 6-0 (3-0) W 31-0
    10/11 @ Western Kentucky 7-0 (3-0) W 24-7
    10/25 Eastern Michigan 8-0 (4-0) W 38-16
    11/05 Northern Illinois 9-0 (5-0) W 45-14
    11/11 @ Miami (OH) 10-0 (6-0) W 31-16
    11/19 @ Central Michigan 11-0 (7-0) W 31-24

Agree that this is their weakest schedule in a while, but they've done a fairly decent job at winning handily.

we're talking no. 1 here, dog, not top 20. you want to lay claim to no. 1, and maybe you should beat somebody.

Florida could start Courtney Love at QB and still finish in the middle of the Pac 10.

OK. Penn State beat Ohio State AND Oregon State.

I'm kicking myself now for not ranking Penn State higher than the Trojans.

Washington: 0-11, and likely 0-12. Washington State: 2-10, including a win against a winless team, and an FCS also-ran.

Arizona State: Lost to that horseshit Georgia squad, and UNLV.

UCLA: Still smarting from the beating BYU put on them, also lost to Fresno State.

Stanford: Gifted Big Fat Charlie's boys a win, you know, the one's that just lost to Syracuse. Also got hammered by Arizona State 41-17 (see previous).

Arizona: Nice loss at New Mexico, who are 2-6 in the MWC.

The only team that having that bad a season in the SEC is Tennessee, which is a terrible team this year. But yeah, USC's had it real tough in-conference.

Who, as you might have noticed, are ranked this week.

Anyone who isn't paying attention to what Houston Nutt has done in his first year at that program is really barking up the wrong tree.

Well, at least they'll have won their conference. And so will Alabama or Florida.
