Nope. No joke. Once the games start, I have no preconceived notions. My poll isn't about who I think will be top 25 at the end of the season. It's about earning your way each week. I have only one game to go on for everyone. I have no problem making radical changes every week, based on what the teams do, who they play and and what previous opponents do. That Clemson win three weeks from now may look like crap but right now it's not.

I'll guarantee I'll swap out at least five-seven teams next week. But I'm not rewarding Arizona State or Texas Tech for the games they played or keeping Virginia Tech in just because they're Virginia Tech.

Edit: S. Carolina and Kentucky played foes from power conferences and won rather convincingly.

My rule for this week is you have to win to stay in. I'm not putting an 0-1 team ahead of a 1-0 team, so Clemson, VaTech, Illinois, Tennessee and Rutgers (what was I thinking there?) are gone. Alabama, Fresno St., UCLA, Cal and Utah moved in. Here's the whole shebang.

Southern Cal
Georgia
Oklahoma
Missouri
Florida
Ohio State
LSU
West Virginia
Texas
Auburn
Kansas
Alabama
Texas Tech
Arizona State
Wisconsin
South Carolina
BYU
Oregon
South Florida
Penn State
Wake Forest
Fresno State
UCLA
California
Utah
