    Luck != talent
    Luck != skill

    ECU won on luck. That does mean that Va. Tech is not as good as expected (if it was, the Pirates would have been sunk) but does not mean that ECU is far better than expected.

    Now, Clemson losing to Bama? Different. That wasn't luck. That was Clemson getting stuffed into a pipe and smoked by a better team.

    Funny how that works out, even though ECU proved it on the field.
    Happens all the time when a team comes from nowhere against a ranked team

    Well, that's stupid.

    Why play the games then?

    I guess we all should just pick who we think are the top eights teams and hold the BCS bowls right now.
