Della, how can you punish one team (in this case, Fresno State, which didn't change for better or worse in my poll) for not playing when don't punish your top two?

Doesn't really make sense to me ...

if you watched any of that game, you'll know that, yes, at time Bama's defense played well -- especially the linebackers. But if Tulane's receivers could actually catch passes, you'd know that Bama should be 1-1 this morning. The ONLY thing that saved Bama was special teams.

Slappy, are we allowed to make changes even if we've sent the ballot in?

That's why people shouldn't post their ballots (especially BEFORE the deadline).

Others may see it and it may influence their own ballot.

In the AP vote, no one sees anyone else's ballot before the poll comes out.

After the way the Irish struggled, I want to know which coach(es) put Notre Dame on their ballot! Three points in the also receiving votes... You have got to be kidding me!

Hank, no one else's ballot had any influence on the change I want to make. Just realized I ranked someone higher than I had planned on after I sent mine in.

Well, unlike the AP poll the SportsJournalists.com poll doesn't have the naitonal recognition, so I have no problem with people posting their polls and "influencing" people. Heck, it's good to banter back and forth on these. I don't think anyone is here reading this to see how others voted to adjust their polls, but so what if they are?
