Working on mine now. Despite the fact I have to be at work early.

What's holding me up? Pulling the trigger on putting ECU in the top 15. Ugh. It hurts.

Two wins against two top 20 teams... no brainer. If it was USC by the same score, you'd have them as No. 1.

Just got back from a weekend in Chicago. Here's my damage ...

    1. USC
    2. Florida
    3. Ohio State
    4. Georgia
    5. Missouri
    6. Oklahoma
    7. LSU
    8. Texas
    9. Arizona State
    10. Wisconsin
    11. Auburn
    12. East Carolina
    13. Kansas
    14. South Florida
    15. Oregon
    16. Utah
    17. Illinois
    18. Texas Tech
    19. Alabama
    20. Penn State
    21. West Virginia
    22. Wake Forest
    23. Tennessee
    24. Fresno State
    25. BYU

I had voted Ohio State No. 1 for the first two polls, but fuck that noise. If you can't put away Ohio Fucking U at home, you suck and don't get my No. 1 vote any more.

I think East Carolina is fair at No. 12 for now. I have my suspicions about West Virginia's viability, so it remains to be seen what that win will mean down the road, but in the meantime, it was huge for ECU.

I treated BYU's horseshit win like a loss and dropped them accordingly. In my original draft, I had them out completely, but I reconsidered.

My validation, such as there is with a poll, was Central Florida going to the brink against USF, as I had been voting for them from the beginning. They could pop back into the top 25 later on, but for now, they will bubble under.

Next fraud alert? Texas Tech is going to go down and go down hard at some point this season. I can't believe with their near total history of fail at nearly every meaningful moment since they've been in the Big 12 that they're ranked so high by some in our poll and in the national polls. They will disappoint you.

Defunct program of the week for the heck of it: Evansville!
