    I'm shocked that USC is No. 1. I thought all you SEC fanboihomers would be voting SEC schools 1 through 10.

    Nice...

    the point totals are right... the first place votes were miscounted...am working on it now...

    Fixed... the excel sheet is just wide enough that I can't fit it on the screen and I missed a couple... that, and I can't add anyway... thank God for excel formulas.

    I think Ole Miss will be better than Kentucky this season, yes (even though the Hardy loss is huge).

    EDIT: I expect Ole Miss to sneak into a low-level bowl this year. When you add coaching to talent, you'd be amazed at the results.

    You'll note the No. 1 team is Southern Cal and not USC... didn;t want to cause rioting in Columbia...

    I look forward to Washington State beating some really crappy teams early in the season, so I can wing them into my poll.

    Granted, they might go winless in the Pac-10, but I'd like to vote for them at least once.

    Damn, they aren't going to open 3-0 like normal.

    The Cougs play Oklahoma State in Seattle, then host California.

    So, they'll open 0-2.

    Then they go to Baylor before getting their first win when they host Portland State.
