I am, too, joe. Should be interesting. I think it's pretty safe to say that he's the most talented player in a BU uniform since, who, Jerod Douglas or Kalief Muhammad? (Don't say Odell James)

If West Virginia didn't look so awful, I'd strongly consider Colorado this week. But in the long run, and it will affect East Carolina, the Mountaineers might be lucky to sniff .500.

Edit: I might give WVU's spot to Colorado based on the outcomes of Georgia-Arizona State and Wake Forest-Florida St. With the schedule the Buffs have coming up, they'll either earn their way in or show the deserve to stay.

Wouldn't that require NC State to score?

In theory, yes. But it almost didn't stop Missisissppi State from beating Aubie.

I agree. They lost a veteran linebacker and an offensive lineman. They'll go down. They're thin at linebacker.

Will the people citing an ECU loss please tell me what N.C. State is capable of doing right?

Kinda what I was thinking. I'll believe ECU loses only when I see it.

Nothing. By all rights, they should win. Ever follow a hunch?

slappy and I are on the same page. ECU is, as the coach admitted, "thin" at linebacker. An OT is hurt. Injuries are a part of the game.

So my hunch is based more on NC State wanting to prove a little something against a team that has to put in greenhorns into crucial positions.

N.C. State can want to prove a little something and I can want a mansion on the beach with a dock for my new cigarette boat. Both are equally likely to come to fruition.
