Well, here goes: TOLD YOU TOLD YOU TOLD YOU TOLD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all serious, I was just voting based on what had/has happened. Bama just happens to keep winning and others are dropping around them.

A quick insight on my ballot -- 1. LSU, 2. Oklahoma, 3. Alabama, 4. Missouri, 5. Penn State.

As I've state, the defending champ is my No. 1 till they lose. I move Oklahoma up one spot because they look like the total package. Bama we all know about and the win over Georgia, plus the losses by others, made them easy to move up. Missouri, unfortunately, was leapfrogged because A. they didn't play, and B. Oklahoma and Bama played top 25 teams. Also, outside of Illinois Mizzou hasn't played anyone and the Illinois aren't looking so hot right now. I know I've thought more highly of Penn State than others but they have done what a top 5 team is supposed to. They have drilled the people they are supposed to (that Oregon State win looms even bigger now) and they took care of Illinois. With Ohio State's struggles and Wisky's loss, they are on track to be the class of the Big 10.

Since all hell broke loose this week, I'll detail everything below. I am also going to take heat for this, but what else is new? If a team is undefeated, I put them in the top 25. This weekend proved that winning is paramount. Playing a top 10 team is one thing, but if you're Southern Cal or Florida or Nebraska or Wake Forest, you were penalized. In the case of the last two, they were dropped. As was Illinois, despite two losses to people in my top five.

Added to the top 25 -- UConn at 21, Northwestern at 22, Ball State at 23, Tulsa at 24.
Dropped from the top 25 -- Nebraska, Wake Forest, TCU, Illinois

Other Notes: And away we go. Southern Cal dropped from 2 to 13. Florida went from 5 to 12, one spot behind Vandy (up from 17) using Ole Miss as the difference. Georgia went from 7 to 10. Bama moved from 8 to 3. Wisky dropped from 11 to 17, one spot behind Utah based on Michigan as the difference. BYU up to 8 from 12, Texas Tech up to 7 from 15. Ohio State slid two spots to 15.

Now when they lose, you understand this is going to explode...
Even Ms. Slappy and her friends, who jumped up and down everytime Bammer got a first down, think No. 2 is too high.
