Well, start the parade planning on Yonge Street again. J-S Giguere with another shutout. Nicely done last question, EF, and a Giguere handled that one quite well.

But aren't they missing Blake's offence?

Not as well as Giguere has played - so far. Leafs need more offense, but might have helped out its back end with the recent deals.

You forgot the blue font I assume.

    You mean, Mr. Perimeter?

    Didn't see it either, JR.

Planning for that parade again? :)

One former Brampton Battalion Wolski scores for the Avs on a beautiful set-up by another Brampton guy Matt Duchene. 1-0 Avs over the Oilers

Caps and Pens will play tomorrow as scheduled. Pens apparently flew into Newark and took a charter bus to D.C. The arena very well could be empty though. Metro is shut down and driving in the area is quite treacherous.

Super Bowl Sunday, millions snowed in at home ... the NHL would have helped the Penguins make it there by any means possible to make sure they could get the TV ratings for tomorrow's game. I'm sure they didn't want to lament about a lost chance to showcase the rivalry.

2-0 Pens halfway through the first.

    Sid has, um, both goals.

The Caps have won 13 straight playing what has often been mediocre hockey. Figures that if they come out and play like shit against the Pens that they'll be paying for it.

And how nothing gets called in front of two refs when Ovechkin gets hit into the boards head first from behind I'll never know. Fucking Greg Adams the little shitball.

Seriously, that call was egregiously bad. That the Pens and not the Caps got a PP out of it is mind boggling.

That was a terrible decision, yes.

On Sid ... well, if you leave him standing in front of the net, he's going to beat Theodore nine out of 10 times. Can't give him that position.

Caps have made a habit of playing like shit in the first 10 minutes of the last few games. This ain't the Rangers or Thrashers or Bruins though.
