In a sport full of them, hockey is being polluted with yet annoying cliche. The latest?

"Alexander Ovechkin gets just as excited when one of his teammates scores as he does when he scores"

Memo to Pierre McGuire, Mike Emrick, or whoever the fuck else:

The same could be said of 95% of the guys in the league. Now shut the fuck up.

probably not but it just show what a god damn force he is. Best power forward in the game, it's to bad cap fans and media can't just sit back and enjoy what they have. The inferiority complex and whining gets old quick.

Yeah, let's not forget Hal Gill is 6'7" and at least 250.

I'm trying to decide who's more annoying: Caps fans or Penguins fans.

Blackhawks acquire Kim Johnsson and Nick Leddy from Minnesota for Cam Barker

Fantastic deal for the Blackhawks. I would have taken Barker for Johnsson straight-up, let alone with a first-round pick from last year (albeit a bit of a reach) in the deal, too.

Johnsson is an upgrade over Barker on the third pairing (could even see him moving up to the second with Campbell and dropping Hjarmstihasdg down to the third), and he's a UFA after this season, unlike Barker, so this gives a little cap relief.
